What is a Juice Cleanse?

A clean engine running on super clean fuel will get better gas mileage. A dirty engine running on dirty fuel will get less mileage, run poorly & break down more frequently. This works the same as the human body. A juice cleanse is an opportunity to give the body a break from working overtime digesting the modern day, over processed, nutrient deficient diet. Raw organic juices are the best possible fuel, giving our bodies optimal nutrients. On a juice cleanse, excluding the fiber allows the entire digestive system to rest. During this near total system shut down, your body in its infinite wisdom knows what to do next. It knows where to divert healing forces and how to build up energy reserves to enhance your immune system. Our body needs less calories when it gets better nutrition. The nutrients enter the blood stream in minutes, making raw juice a powerful alkalizer and detoxifier. Consult with your healthcare physician if a juice cleanse is appropriate for you.

Juice Cleanse Preparation

For best results, eat a vegetarian/ vegan diet starting at least 24 hours before your cleanse. Refrain from eating meat, dairy, sugar, soda, alcohol, coffee & any processed foods. Basically, just eat whole fruits & vegetables, nuts, seeds and drink a lot of filtered water.

During the Cleanse

Start each day with a glass of filtered water (no ice) with half a lemon to help alkalize your body. Enjoy your 1st juice at the time of breakfast. Pace drinking a juice approximately every 2 hours. Drink a glass of room temperature water or hot herbal tea between juices. If you are still hungry, you don’t have to only drink juice to cleanse. Being 100% raw and vegan will promote cleansing as well. Have a salad with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar as dressing, or eat a piece of fruit. Hydration is key to cleansing the body, promoting regular bowls & clear skin. Enjoy this process! Take time to nurture your body with a yoga class, massage, colonix, sit in meditation, go to bed early.

Post Cleanse

Congratulations, you did it and your body thanks you! Continue eating vegetarian/ vegan food the first day after the cleanse. Eat a green leafy salad or water-plump fruits. Continue to drink a lot of filtered water. Ease back into your normal eating habits. Use this cleanse as an opportunity to eliminate foods from your life that drain your energy (like soda & processed foods). After your cleanse, you can expect to feel rejuvenated on the inside and full of energy.

How Do I Start?
Sign up & pay online or at the store any time up until 5pm the night before. We will have your juice 6 pack ready for you the morning that you will be starting your cleanse. Pick up your cleanse anytime in the morning or if you are located in the Brickell area delivery may be available between 9-11am.
